why the kfc refuse deaf people to apply to work?

kfc-i-hate-uThe KFC refuse deaf people to work for there company because KFC don’t want to hire deaf people. I’m a girl i already apply in this Kentucky Fried Chicken and have a interview and after that he said i cannot work for this company because i am a deaf it’s hurt when he said that. i really need to work because i want to help my family and now i have a son to take care all of the company that i apply to no one to hired me because i am a deaf. How can kfc not hired deaf people like that….

    I see that you have trouble getting a job at either McDonalds or KFC. I suggest that you consider contacting Americans with Disabilits Act office to file a compliant against these companies. They just violated your rights as an prospective empolyee and as a deaf person. This is discrimation at face value. Also consider contacting National Association for the Deaf for their advice in handling such matters.

    I agree with Joseph. That man at KFC broke the law. It is against ADA to refuse to hire someone because they have a disability. If he wrote on the note to you and you kept it, then use it to file a complaint. Go to your local deaf agency and find out how you can make a complain.

    I used to work KFC for several years during I was in High School. I had no problem with hiring. Unfortunately, it depend on where you live in area. A man know nothing about ADA laws. More common to hearing people don't know about it. Guess we have to report the ADA. Hope everything is well with you.
